We're regular attendeed at Small Business Research + Enterprise Centre's bi-monthly Business Support One Stop event.

It's a mini expo that gives you access to a variety of resources and experts who can help you with the many aspects of starting or growing a business.

They have a wide range of different experts each month including:

Their team of experts and partners will be on hand to answer your questions and you will also have the opportunity to network with other business owners and entrepreneurs, so you can learn from their experiences and build valuable connections.

The mini expo takes place from 10am-2pm, and you’re welcome to drop in for as long or as little as you like but we encourage you to register so you can receive updates about this event. International Cyber Expo is where great cybersecurity minds come together to explore the issues of tomorrow's interconnected world.

Held at Olympia London on the 24th - 25th September 2024, International Cyber Expo endeavours to be the go-to-meeting place for industry collaboration, where everyone from vetted senior cybersecurity buyers, government officials and entrepreneurs, to software developers and venture capitalists, are welcome to share their experiences, knowledge and resources with peers.

Blue Bermondsey BID is the unified voice of local business in the Blue, South Bermondsey. The BID is committed to helping its business members and raising the area profile, to encourage further investment, positive perceptions and improvements.

The Blue is a unique place, as it is not on any map, yet it is the historic town centre of Bermondsey and “Going Down the Blue” is a saying used by the local community when venturing to Southwark Park Road and the market. The Blue Market Place is more than just a home to stalls, it is also the hub of the community, with regular events.

The London Riverside BID is London’s largest industrial Business Improvement District representing over 450 property and occupier

The London Riverside BID is London’s largest industrial Business Improvement District representing over 450 property and occupier businesses in Rainham's industrial zone, making the area a better place for business, for jobs and for the environment.

Now in its fourth term, it invests BID levy funds across five core pillars to meet the needs of its members:

  • safe and secure
  • clean and maintained
  • accessible and coordinated
  • green and sustainable
  • fit for the future

Love Wimbledon BID is a not for profit, limited company, owned and led by local businesses, aimed at helping Wimbledon Town Centre to maximise its full potential. Love Wimbledon was set up in 2012 and is now in its third five-year term of office. We are funded by a small levy from businesses, based on the rateable value of their property.  These funds are then applied directly into activities within the BID area only.  We do this through events, promotion, activations, partnerships and by investing in Wimbledon’s future, ensuring it remains a vibrant, attractive, safe and sustainable destination to visit, work and live in.

Station to Station Business Improvement District (BID) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, set up to increase the attractiveness and appeal of West Norwood & Tulse Hill as a commercial destination. Station to Station is funded by an annual levy on all eligible businesses. Most businesses recognise that there are a number of factors affecting their businesses over which they would normally have no control. These could include customer perceptions of the town, street management, vacant units and a lack of promotional opportunities to name a few. Station to Station provides that control and provides a financial mechanism to enable the business community to act effectively.

The Cyber Helpline is a movement by the cybersecurity community to step in and fill the gap in support for victims of cybercrime, digital fraud and online harm. Their unique model allows them to harness the skills and expertise of the cybersecurity community and change lives by helping thousands of victims a month.

Over 600,000 individuals have accessed their help and their helpline has directly supported more than 55,000 victims.

They provide a free 24/7 self-help service and a confidential helpline for individuals and sole traders. They help victims understand, contain, recover and learn from cyber attacks by linking them with cybersecurity technology & experts who provide relevant advice and guidance.

The Small Business Research and Enterprise Centre (SBREC) is the City of London Corporation's small business start-up support service, open to all small businesses throughout the UK.

The service is available to anyone thinking about starting a business or would like to understand how to use business data and market research to grow. Our business research facility provides you with access to an extensive range of business data, information and support events.

The Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) is an international nonprofit organization that focuses on making the Internet more secure for everyone: GCA’s vision is a secure, trustworthy Internet that enables social and economic progress for all. We do this by building practical, measurable solutions and tools, working with partners to accelerate adoption around the world.

The GCA Cybersecurity Toolkit for Small Business provides free and effective tools to reduce cyber risk. The tools are carefully selected and organized to make it easy to find and implement cybersecurity controls that help organizations defend themselves against cyber threats.

GCA was founded in 2015 by the City of London Police, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and the Center for Internet Security (CIS).
