The Blue is a unique place, as it is not on any map, yet it is the historic town centre of Bermondsey and “Going Down the Blue” is a saying used by the local community when venturing to Southwark Park Road and the market. The Blue Market Place is more than just a home to stalls, it is also the hub of the community, with regular events.

Love Wimbledon BID
Love Wimbledon BID is a not for profit, limited company, owned and led by local businesses, aimed at helping Wimbledon Town Centre to maximise its full potential. Love Wimbledon was set up in 2012 and is now in its third five-year term of office. We are funded by a small levy from businesses, based on the rateable value of their property. These funds are then applied directly into activities within the BID area only. We do this through events, promotion, activations, partnerships and by investing in Wimbledon’s future, ensuring it remains a vibrant, attractive, safe and sustainable destination to visit, work and live in.
Station to Station
Station to Station Business Improvement District (BID) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, set up to increase the attractiveness and appeal of West Norwood & Tulse Hill as a commercial destination. Station to Station is funded by an annual levy on all eligible businesses. Most businesses recognise that there are a number of factors affecting their businesses over which they would normally have no control. These could include customer perceptions of the town, street management, vacant units and a lack of promotional opportunities to name a few. Station to Station provides that control and provides a financial mechanism to enable the business community to act effectively.
